Ride with safety

To make our community safer, we must ride responsibly. Learn how to stay safe on a scooter with Spiders.
  • You must be 13 years or older to ride Spiders.
  • Only one passenger is allowed on the vehicle.
  • Wear a helmet.
  • We recommend you to be fully aware of the (local) rules of the road before getting on an e-scooter.
  • Stay off pavements as well as roads with speeds over 30 mph.
  • Stick to the bike lanes when possible, or close to the side curb.
  • Be aware of surrounding traffic, especially at intersections.

Park responsibly

Icon
  • Park properly and help keep the pavements with accessible space for all.
  • Place the e-scooter on the street alongside a pavement, close to a wall, or within a designated parking zone.
  • Use the kickstand to make sure the scooter is standing upright.
  • Be sure not to block any access ramps, bus stops, crosswalks, or entrances, or in any other way obstruct public areas.
  • Always follow the local parking rules.
